VTMN DRIPS TERMS + CONDITIONS
VTMN DRIPS
Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
These Terms and Conditions govern bookings, purchases and services
provided by VTMN Drips Pty Ltd, ABN 74 661 203 023, trading as VTMN Drips
("VTMN DRIPS", "we", "us" or "our").
VTMN DRIPS is a Queensland-based healthcare and wellness business offering
intravenous (IV) and intramuscular (IM) services and other services expressly
made available through its clinic or authorised booking channels.
These Terms apply to appointments made through our website, external
booking platforms, telephone, email, social media or directly with our team.
They also apply to eligible mobile or off-site appointments where such services
are offered.
By booking or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms, subject to your
rights under applicable Australian law.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, relevant booking
information, treatment-specific documents, medical screening requirements
and clinical consent forms.
If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and your non-excludable
statutory rights, those statutory rights prevail.
2. NATURE OF OUR SERVICES
VTMN DRIPS provides services subject to appropriate clinical assessment,
professional judgement, regulatory requirements and the availability of suitably
qualified healthcare practitioners.
Not every treatment is appropriate for every person.
Descriptions of services on our website, social media or booking platform are
general information only. They do not constitute an individual medical
assessment, prescription or guarantee that a particular treatment will be
provided.
Our services are not intended to replace emergency care, routine medical care
or the ongoing management of health conditions by your usual healthcare
practitioners.
You should seek advice from your GP or relevant specialist about medical
concerns.
In an emergency, call 000.
3. BOOKINGS AND APPOINTMENTS
Appointments may be requested through our nominated online booking
platform or other authorised channels.
A booking request may be subject to confirmation, availability, completion of
required forms, payment requirements and clinical suitability.
An appointment booking does not guarantee that a treatment will be
administered.
We may contact you before your appointment to request additional information,
confirm booking details or arrange a necessary medical assessment.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and ensuring
you receive relevant appointment communications.
Please arrive at your scheduled time and allow sufficient time for screening,
assessment, treatment and any required observation.
4. MEDICAL SCREENING AND PRESCRIBING
Certain services require medical screening, clinical authorisation or a valid
prescription before treatment can proceed.
Where required, VTMN DRIPS may arrange access to an appropriately
authorised prescribing practitioner who is separate from the practitioner
administering the treatment.
The prescribing practitioner is responsible for exercising independent clinical
judgement in determining whether a prescription or other clinical authorisation
is appropriate.
A prescription is not guaranteed.
A previous prescription or previous treatment does not automatically establish
suitability for future treatment.
Additional assessment, updated information, further investigations or specialist
clearance may be required.
The prescribing practitioner may decline to prescribe, recommend an
alternative approach or determine that treatment should not proceed.
VTMN DRIPS and its treating practitioners may also decline or defer
administration where there are clinical or safety concerns.
Any consultation or prescribing fee will be disclosed before it is charged.
Where an independent practitioner charges a separate fee, the applicable
payment and cancellation arrangements should be explained before that
consultation.
The applicable validity and conditions of any prescription are determined by law
and the prescribing practitioner. We do not guarantee that prescriptions remain
valid for a particular period.
5. YOUR HEALTH INFORMATION AND DISCLOSURE OBLIGATIONS
You must provide accurate, complete and current information relevant to your
treatment.
This may include your medical history, existing conditions, current medications,
supplements, allergies, previous adverse reactions, pregnancy or breastfeeding
status, recent illness, relevant test results and information requested through
screening or consent forms.
You must notify your treating practitioner if your health circumstances change
before or during an appointment.
Failure to disclose relevant information may affect treatment safety and
suitability.
If you are uncertain whether information is relevant, please disclose it to your
treating practitioner.
We may request additional information or clearance from another healthcare
practitioner where clinically appropriate.
6. CLINICAL ASSESSMENT AND RIGHT TO DECLINE TREATMENT
Patient safety and appropriate clinical care take priority over the provision of a
booked service.
Treatment may be postponed, modified or declined where a practitioner
considers it clinically inappropriate, unsafe or outside the relevant professional
scope of practice.
Reasons may include medical contraindications, incomplete screening, inability
to obtain necessary authorisation, suspected intoxication, infectious illness,
concerning symptoms or other circumstances affecting safe care.
We may also refuse or discontinue non-emergency services where a person
behaves in a threatening, abusive or unsafe manner.
Where treatment cannot proceed, any applicable refund, credit or rescheduling
arrangements will be determined according to the circumstances, fees already
incurred, these Terms and Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms limits a healthcare practitioner's professional
obligations or a patient's rights to appropriate care.
7. INFORMED CONSENT
A booking or payment does not, by itself, constitute informed clinical consent
to treatment.
Before treatment, you may be required to complete a medical questionnaire and
treatment-specific consent documentation.
Your treating practitioner should explain relevant aspects of the proposed
treatment, including material risks, potential side effects, expected limitations,
reasonable alternatives and the option not to proceed.
You should ask questions about anything you do not understand.
You may decline or withdraw consent to treatment in accordance with
applicable law and clinical requirements.
Withdrawal of clinical consent does not automatically determine whether
booking, consultation or other fees are refundable. Those matters are
considered separately under these Terms and applicable law.
8. RISKS, RESULTS AND TREATMENT OUTCOMES
IV and IM treatments involve clinical procedures and may carry risks, including
discomfort, bruising, infection, inflammation, reactions to administered
substances and other complications.
Specific risks and contraindications depend on the proposed treatment and
your individual circumstances and should be discussed during the consent
process.
Individual responses vary. We do not guarantee particular health, wellness,
cosmetic, performance or other outcomes.
Information provided through our website or marketing materials is not a
substitute for personalised medical advice.
We do not guarantee that a treatment will prevent, diagnose, manage or cure
any particular condition unless such a claim is appropriately supported and
legally permitted.
9. PRICING AND PAYMENT
Current prices are displayed through our website, booking platform or other
authorised channels.
Prices are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Any required booking deposit, prepayment, consultation fee, prescribing fee,
travel fee or additional charge should be disclosed before you commit to
payment.
Payment may be collected through our external booking or payment provider.
We may require payment before or at the time of an appointment, according to
the applicable booking information.
Prices may change for future bookings. Any change affecting an existing
confirmed booking will be communicated and managed in accordance with
applicable law.
Where an additional service is recommended, we will explain the relevant
charges and obtain appropriate agreement before proceeding.
10. CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING AND NON-ATTENDANCE
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. However,
as a small business with limited appointment availability, VTMN DRIPS
requires a minimum of 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations
or changes.
Where less than 24 hours' notice is provided, or a client fails to attend
their scheduled appointment, the booking deposit may be forfeited in
accordance with the cancellation conditions disclosed at the time of
booking.
We may send an appointment reminder by text message
approximately two days before your scheduled appointment. These
reminders are provided as a courtesy, and you remain responsible for
managing your booking.
If you are unwell or believe treatment may be unsafe, please contact
us as soon as possible so that appropriate arrangements can be
considered.
Any cancellation fee or deposit forfeiture will apply only to the extent
permitted by law and must be consistent with the disclosed booking
conditions, the circumstances and the business's legitimate interests.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits your rights under Australian
Consumer Law.
11. LATE ARRIVALS
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Late arrival may reduce the time available for assessment, treatment or
observation.
Where there is insufficient time to provide the service safely, we may need to
reschedule your appointment.
Any applicable fee will be assessed under the disclosed booking arrangements
and applicable law.
We will not compromise clinical safety to accommodate a late arrival.
12. CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES BY VTMN DRIPS
We may need to change or cancel an appointment due to practitioner
availability, illness, equipment issues, clinical requirements, supply constraints,
emergencies or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where possible, we will provide reasonable notice and offer an alternative
appointment.
If we cancel a prepaid service and cannot provide an appropriate alternative,
we will provide any refund or other remedy required by Australian Consumer
Law.
We are not responsible for unrelated travel or accommodation costs except to
the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded or where otherwise agreed.
13. REFUNDS AND AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian
Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer
guarantee, statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
A change of mind does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund where
the service can lawfully be provided as agreed.
However, refunds, repeat services or other remedies may be available where
required by law, including where a service fails to meet an applicable consumer
guarantee.
Where a treatment does not proceed following screening or prescribing
assessment, we will consider whether any separate consultation or assessment
has already been supplied, what fees were disclosed, the reason treatment did
not proceed and the customer's statutory rights.
We will not automatically retain the entire treatment price solely because a
practitioner determines that treatment is clinically unsuitable.
Requests for refunds or credits should be directed to our team.
14. TREATMENT PACKAGES AND PREPAID SERVICES
Where VTMN DRIPS offers prepaid packages or multiple-session arrangements,
the specific inclusions, price, validity period and booking conditions will be
communicated at the time of purchase.
Packages are subject to clinical suitability at each appointment.
Purchasing a package does not guarantee future prescriptions or treatment
eligibility.
Any expiry date, transfer restriction, cancellation arrangement or refund
condition must comply with applicable law.
If a customer becomes clinically unsuitable for remaining treatments, the
circumstances and any appropriate remedy will be considered individually,
including the value of services already supplied and applicable statutory rights.
15. GIFT VOUCHERS AND PROMOTIONS
Where gift vouchers are offered, their value, expiry, redemption arrangements
and any exclusions will be disclosed at purchase.
Gift cards covered by Australia's national gift card rules will have the minimum
expiry period required by law, subject to applicable exceptions.
Gift vouchers cannot guarantee clinical suitability for treatment.
If a recipient is unable to receive a particular treatment, we will consider any
available alternative or remedy in accordance with the voucher terms and
applicable law.
Promotional offers may be subject to stated eligibility, duration and availability
conditions.
Any discount or promotional advertising will be subject to applicable consumer,
healthcare and therapeutic goods advertising requirements.
16. MOBILE AND OFF-SITE SERVICES
Where mobile or off-site services are offered, additional arrangements may
apply.
You may be asked to provide the treatment location, relevant access
information and details necessary to assess whether the environment is
suitable for safe care.
We may decline or discontinue a mobile appointment if the location is
unsuitable, unsafe, unhygienic, inaccessible or otherwise inappropriate for the
proposed treatment.
Travel charges, minimum booking requirements and cancellation arrangements
will be disclosed before confirmation.
The same requirements for screening, prescribing, informed consent, clinical
documentation and professional care apply to mobile services.
17. INFECTIOUS ILLNESS AND CLINIC CONDUCT
Please notify us before attending if you are experiencing symptoms of an
infectious illness or have been advised to isolate or avoid contact with others.
We may recommend rescheduling where clinically appropriate.
Clients and accompanying persons must treat staff, practitioners and other
patients respectfully.
Threatening, abusive, discriminatory or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated.
We may take reasonable steps to protect patients, staff and visitors, including
declining non-emergency services or requiring a person to leave where lawful
and appropriate.
18. AFTERCARE AND ADVERSE EVENTS
You should follow the aftercare instructions provided by your treating
practitioner.
If you experience unexpected symptoms or a possible adverse reaction,
contact the clinic or seek appropriate medical attention.
For severe symptoms or a medical emergency, call 000.
We may need to document adverse events, communicate with relevant
healthcare professionals and comply with applicable reporting obligations.
Any complaint or concern about treatment will be considered seriously and
handled through appropriate clinical and business processes.
19. PRIVACY AND HEALTH RECORDS
We collect and handle personal and health information in accordance with our
Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Information may be shared with authorised prescribing practitioners, treating
clinicians, relevant healthcare providers and service providers where
reasonably necessary and legally permitted.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, stored, disclosed and
retained, and how privacy enquiries and complaints may be made.
Clinical information is not used for unrelated promotional purposes merely
because a patient has booked a service.
20. PHOTOGRAPHY, FEEDBACK AND ADVERTISING
We may invite patients to provide feedback about their experience.
Any use of identifiable photographs, video, personal information or patient
experiences for promotional purposes is subject to applicable consent, privacy
and healthcare advertising requirements.
Consent alone does not make otherwise prohibited healthcare advertising
lawful.
We will not use testimonials concerning clinical aspects of regulated health
services in advertising where prohibited by the Health Practitioner Regulation
National Law.
We will also comply with applicable restrictions on therapeutic goods
advertising, including requirements concerning claims, endorsements and
promotion of prescription-only medicines.
21. WEBSITE AND THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
Our website may contain links to external booking, payment, information or
social media platforms.
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for independently operated third-party content or
systems except to the extent required by law or arising from our own
obligations.
You should take reasonable care when using online booking links and providing
information through external platforms.
22. LIABILITY AND STATUTORY RIGHTS
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for personal injury,
professional negligence, breach of statutory duty, failure to meet consumer
guarantees or any other matter to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully
be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by
inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by a client, failure to follow
reasonable clinical instructions or circumstances outside our reasonable
control, except where our own conduct or legal obligations contribute to that
loss.
Any limitation of liability is subject to applicable law and the individual
circumstances.
23. COMPLAINTS AND CONCERNS
If you have a concern about a booking, payment, service or treatment, please
contact us so we can review the matter.
We aim to address complaints respectfully, fairly and within a reasonable
timeframe.
You may also have rights to contact relevant external bodies, including the
Office of the Health Ombudsman in Queensland, Ahpra, the Office of the
Australian Information Commissioner or relevant consumer protection
authorities, depending on the nature of your concern.
Nothing in these Terms restricts your right to make a lawful complaint to a
regulator or seek independent advice.
24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, booking
arrangements, operating procedures or legal requirements.
The current version will be published through our website or another
appropriate channel.
Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued rights or unfairly alter an
existing booking.
Where a material change affects a confirmed purchase or booking, we will
communicate it and provide any rights or remedies required by law.
25. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, subject to
applicable Commonwealth legislation and any mandatory rights or protections
that apply.
The parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and any other
courts with jurisdiction under applicable law.
